Pneumania was a Punk band based in Luton, UK, who in 1979 appeared on the flip-side
of 'The Split Single' the other side featuring UK Decay.
The Split Single gained notoriety by a damming review in the New Musical Express in 1979,
who's Charles Shar Murray and Danny Baker critically slammed the single. Thus in the true spirit of Punk, the record quickly sold out. Later in 79 guitarist Steve Spon left Pneumania to team up with UK Decay. That seemed like the end but a year later and with a new line-up, Pneumania reformed.
Sadly that too was short lived, but both versions of Pneumania made some radically innovative punk music music in their short career. It's a real tragedy that they only recorded two tracks.
In an alternative dimension Pneumania are a world influencing brand that changed history.
